The man for a good value business lunch in Londinium. One can find him in a bistro or brasserie accompanied by copious amounts of wine. A bon viveur with eclectic tastes. His penchant is for good value and quality. Sir Stephano knows all the best places to do business on a Friday afternoon.
Main Food Choices – Everything that’s good. An eclectic taste in all fine food and wine (in copious quantities). Champagne and Campari mixed. He informs one that these are a few of his favourite things…(no dear readers, no Julie Andrews impressions PLEASE!) Malbec, Cearello, Ch. Barrabaque. Dark chocolate only. Peanut butter and red sweet onion sandwich. White wine has to be Gavi de Gavi or Ch. Smith Haut Lafitte
Favourite Restaurants
- Cafe du Marche – Now this really is a marvellous French eatery but you have to go to the city of London (ish) to find it. It’s just near Barbican tube station.
- Searcys – French style restaurant/bar in St. Pancras station. Big and lovely.
- Rowleys – A French restaurant with classic steak and chips cooked at your table with the secret café de Paris sauce.
- Dishoom – Trendy Indian restaurant just north of Trafalgar Square in St Martin’s Lane. It serves flavoursome Indian street food. Every dish is a winner.
