One’s American chum. An epicure with an eye for good, new and trendy restaurants. His penchant is for the unusual and classy. He will rarely order the steak and chips, preferring instead the pig’s nose soufflé. He’ll sniff out a new restaurant before the owner’s have heard of it.
Main Food Choices – The unusual – fish, meat, offal. Never to be outguessed. However one detects a penchant for duck confit, sushi and Dan Dan noodles.

Favourite Restaurants

  • Dabbous – An uber trendy restaurant near Charlotte Street off Tottenham Court Road. Some great dishes which will surprise. Try the coddled egg. Go for lunch and be amazed.
  • Brasserie Zedel – A very busy, large, art deco French Brasserie restaurant in Piccadilly Circus. Great value though be careful what you order. Whey not try the duck confit?
  • Barafina – trendy tapas restaurant chain in a few locations in London. Offers true Barcelona style and the queues go out of the door.  Try the one just off Trafalgar Square in Adelaide Street.
